12 June 2019 Porto

We stroll down to the Clerigos square this morning where we meet our walking guide. We wander the sometimes steep streets as we learn about many things including JK Rowling, the fascist Portuguese dictator Salazar and the local football team. We also visit the beautiful Sao Bento railwaystation. Later we wander the Crystal Palace gardens and end up at the Photographic Museum which has amongst other things, a photo of rubbish from the sea. Interestingly there is a sherrin amongst the recovered waste. Dinner at a local restaurant consists of cod and finishes off with a port, of course.
